What an artist, what an album. Bon Iver released his second full-length album this year to mixed reviews. I must say, I was one of the people who weren't too sure of it, and I will fully admit that I don't think it's as good as his previous efforts - 2009's 'Blood Bank' and especially 2008's 'For Emma, Forever Ago' - but it has certainly grown on me, and now it is one of my favourite albums, ever.

It's one of the few albums that I've loaded onto the small memory card I have on my own r4 ds so I can listen to music while doing my brain training on the way to work. I didn't buy myself a DS, it's an old one that was my son's before he got bought a 3DS!

There's something just so raw and haunting about his voice, and his songs just stir up such emotions in you. I can literally feel the emotion in my stomach when listening to him. It's like nothing else.
