The future came faster than I expected. I was a cop as long as I can remember. At the old days we did not have a lot to worry. Catch the bad guess save the innocent that was it. No fancy stuff, no gadgets, no nothing. We had just a police car, our badge, and a gun. And we got the job done. But now in the year 2023 things are a lot different. There are no more guns, instead we use gu10led sticks, which is basically a police baton but with electricity.

You see at the end of 2014 there was an epidemic of a new kind of plague and one that no man could cure. That lead to the decimation of the entire human race and after the virus died of lethal force is forbidden. There are no more wars because there are not enough people to fight in them. Furthermore guns are forbidden and strictly controlled.

Some will say that we are civilized now and that the human society had evolved to a new level, but every time I look at this gu10 led peace of junk I get a migraine. Sure some would say that I am just a bitter old cop, and that I can't find my place in the new and healthy world and that might be thru. For god sakes every time I look at gu10 led I have the urge to shoot myself, but as I said before I don’t have a gun no more.
